Cancer Models: From data to discovery
Data Science is an increasingly fundamental aspect of cancer research, fuelled in part by rapid advances in cell and tissue profiling technologies, and in part by advances in computational hardware, algorithms and mathematical techniques.
The goal of the conference is to bring together scientists working at the interface between the numerical and biological sciences to develop an increasingly holistic view of cancer models and the patients they represent.
The conference will be held at the Glasgow Science Centre, making use of the largest IMAX cinema screen in Scotland, and providing an excellent forum to present spatial, imaging and in silico modelling data.
We are delighted to be joined by an international programme of world-leading researchers using a diverse range of cancer models, technologies and computational tools to study cancer, and encourage early career researchers to submit their poster and talk abstracts for consideration as soon as possible.
About the conference
The Beatson International Cancer Conference series is designed to be a relaxed and friendly meeting where delegates and invited speakers have a chance to interact on a scientific basis. Organised by the CRUK Scotland Institute, this year will be our 30th anniversary conference and we look forward to welcoming you to this special event in Glasgow, Scotland.
