Ke is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Cancer Sciences, University of Glasgow, and a Senior Staff Scientist at the Cancer Research UK Scotland Institute. His research interest involves building AI models across various biological data modalities to transform how cancer is diagnosed, understood, and treated. He received a PhD with Mahesan Niranjan from the University of Southampton in 2013. Until April 2016, he was a postdoc with Florian Markowetz at the Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute, University of Cambridge. From 2016 to 2024, he was a Senior Lecturer at the School of Computing Science, University of Glasgow.
